Nadiya Bychkova from Ukraine started dancing at just 4 years old.
Nadiya is a two-time World Champion and European Champion in Ballroom and Latin ‘10’ Dance in 2014 and 2015.
The dancer is a multiple-time Slovenian Ballroom and Latin Champion and has taken part in the Bosnian version of Strictly.
Nadiya first joined Strictly Come Dancing in 2017 partnering with EastEnders star Davood Ghadami. Nadiya and Davood ended up finishing in an impressive sixth place dancing an Argentine Tango to Phantom Of The Opera.
In 2021, Nadiya starred in Here Come The boys for 10 nights at The London Palladium. This was the first show to opn at the iconic venue since theatres were closed due to the Covid pandemic. This show then toured the Uk in 2022.
She returns to the stage, headlining in her own show with Strictly’s Kai Widdrington. The show is called Once Upon A Time, and will play at 33 theatres around the UK in Spring of this year.
Nadiya continued her Strictly run, partnering with Blue’s Lee Ryan, and professional footballer David James. In 2021, she enjoyed her most successful partnership to date, reaching the quarter finals with BBC presenter Dan Walker, whilst in 2022 she partnered Bros’ Matt Goss.
Nadiya is the only Strictly professional, who is also a working parent, juggling her professional commitments whilst looking after her daughter Mila. They are now both based in the UK.
Nadiya has also been the face of Michael Kors and an ambassador for lingerie range Lisca.
